Top-Down Electrospinning

Syringe Pump

The syringe pump is used to deliver polymer solution to spinnerets. It can make precise dosing with its closed-loop control system. Just tell us which syringe models are mostly used in your laboratory so that we can define them in the system software and you can select one easily. If you want to use a different type of syringe, you can use it only by entering the inner diameter of the syringe.

Homogeneity

This module ensures homogenous coatings of nanofibers by moving the collector harmonically on Y-axis. The module is driven by a stepper motor on precision hardware. It can be calibrated automatically with an accurate home position when necessary. This module is the default for Model B and Model C optional for Model A.

High Voltage Source

High voltage modules help us to load polymer solutions with static electricity. Loaded molecules move to grounded collectors with electric force while forming nanofibers. High Voltage power sources are indispensable for electrospinning and electrospraying applications. Model A typically has a 30kV voltage source. Model B and Model C have a 40 kV voltage source. But you can select the voltage level for your system as you desired.

Negative High Voltage Source

The Negative High voltage sources are used to increase the electrical power between the collector and the emitter. Typically attached to the collector.

Temperature Control

The temperature control module can heat the electrospinning field to 40 ° C. For any sort of application for ambiance temperature please feel free to contact us.

Humidity Control

Ambient humidity can be adjusted between % 25 and room humidity level. Provided with a 3rd party dehumidifier device.

Camera

The camera is used to observe the Taylor Cone and the jet. A screen has been added to the device so that you can see the view closely. The angle and height of the camera can be adjusted manually.

UV Light

UV light is for sterilizing nanofibers. Typically it is positioned so that the light falls directly onto the collector.

Table

The device is attached to the table. It has braked wheels so you can drag the heavy system wherever you want.

Single Needle Emitter

This is the most basic emitter for the electrospinning process. It contains only one spinneret needle. It can be easily disassembled and cleaned. It comes with five sets of 14G, 15G, 16G, 18G, 19G, 20G, 21G, 22G, 23G, 25G needles

Multi-needle

This option could have circular or rectangular formats. You can re-configure how your multi-needle will be. It comes with five pieces of each needle gauge.(14G, 15G, 16G, 18G, 19G, 20G, 21G, 22G, 23G, 25G)

Spinneret  for Gas-Assisted Electrospinning

This emitter has one needle spinneret and a gas channel. It can be used for electro-blowing applications. We also provide Pressure resistant gas washing-bottle on-demand, to saturate gas with solvent vapor. It comes with five sets of 14G, 15G, 16G, 18G, 19G, 20G, 21G, 22G, 23G, 25G needles.

Coaxial Needles

The coaxial nozzle includes intertwined two nozzles to produce core-shell structured nanofibers. It can be used only with two separate syringe pumps. It comes with five pieces of each needle you choose.

Drum

Drum Collector rotates at high speed to align nanofibers. Drum collector parts are fixed thus it is not interchangeable. All the specs of the drum could be changed. Just contact us and we design everything to fulfill all your application requirements.

Rod Collector

Rod Collector has interchangeable shafts 1 to 10 mm in diameter. It comes with the chosen diameter of rods. It rotates at high speed to align nanofibers and allows you to produce tubular structures. Easy to demount and get the layer of nanofibers formed.

Plate Collector

Plate Collector is the most basic collector type. It only consists of single conductive sheet metal. It can be manufactured porous or with any desired 2d shape.

Fabric Coater

It can simulate roll-to-roll production easily.  Rewinds one roll of fabric to another. The sample width is 350 mm. The sample fabric could be coated homogenous using the homogeneity module. You can get the sample fabric coated by configuring the multiple nozzles as you wish.

Yarn Producer

It enables to production of yarn from nanofiber with a rotating funnel. Includes two nozzles, rotary funnel, and thread collector, supporting different diameter needles by default. It has its own special emitter set. Emitters are placed in a circular orbit. Easy to clean, easy to disassemble and install.

Double-sided Electrospinning

It is the process of collecting nanofiber horizontally from 2 sides of a drum collector. The process takes place on the X-axis Includes emitters on both sides and a drum collector. Emitters could be changed optionally. Emitter distances can be adjusted independently on both sides manually or automated. The design of the emitters is different from the emitters used in other applications and they are sent in pairs. Homogenization equipment can be added upon request.

It is the process of adjusting the distance between collector and emitter using a linear actuator or manually
